Ray Palmer Foote IV
Musician | Anthropologist | AI Strategist
Big Foote Music & Sound | FormWave Collective
Palmer Foote is a commercial music producer, touring musician, anthropologist, and creative technologist who believes sound is one of the most powerful forces in shaping culture. As a co-lead of the AI strategy arm at Big Foote Music and Sound and a founding member of Form Wave Collective, Palmer brings a deeply human approach to emerging technologies, helping brands, artists, and institutions stay grounded as they innovate.
His work bridges commercial music production, media theory, and AI development. After earning a degree in anthropology at Columbia University, Palmer spent five years touring internationally with Sir Chloe, performing in iconic venues and festivals around the world. Behind the scenes, he built an award-winning career composing music for top-tier commercials, films, and TV, guided by the belief that every sound tells a story, and every story reveals something deeper about who we are.
With a background in cultural theory and a passion for media studies, Palmer explores how sound, identity, and aesthetics evolve in response to new tools and platforms. Whether scoring an ad or prototyping an AI tool, his work is rooted in empathy, craft, and curiosity.
VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Palmer believes that the future of creative work lies at the intersection of intuition and machine intelligence. His vision is one where artists don’t just use AI, they collaborate with it to unlock new dimensions of feeling, meaning, and resonance.
He sees media not as noise but as something capable of shifting hearts, building memory, and restoring community. As AI accelerates content creation, Palmer is focused on preserving intention: helping people slow down, tune in, and remember what matters.
